Gold Standard of Care

We care creating Standards of Care to be used by Service Centers in Oregon and beyond, in collaboration with leaders in the medical field as well as ceremonial lineage holders.

Remarkable Visual Aid

We are producing animated visual educational materials about end-of-life affirming care, with the understanding that the medical model often marginalizes people in palliative care.

Continued Education

We are creating a ‘Psychedelics in Palliative Care’ educational track, 12 weeks in length, for students who have completed the year-long SoundMind Psychedelic Facilitators Program.

My name is Rachel. I have been practicing as a Palliative Care physician for the past 9 years in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. I also hold an MPH in Public Health. I currently live in Portland, OR but grew up outside of Philadelphia. I’m the mom of three busy kids, and I enjoy all time spent outdoors, hiking, camping, being on the Oregon coast, snuggling with our dog, and trying out new recipes. My interest in holding space for suffering is not new, but my knowledge and understanding about the use of Psychedelics for existential distress among many other mental health diagnoses is just beginning. I’m really excited to learn with you all.
