Psychedelics & Gender Identity Panel

On Thursday, January 5th, we held our free virtual panel “Psychedelics and Gender Identity”. Hannah McLane, MD, MA, MPH (@drhannah.io) was joined by Emma Knighton MA, LMHC (@elknighton), Maya Fern, CHT (@aumayamind), and Chris Stauffer, MD (@cstaufferpdx) for a discussion on the intersection of gender identity, sexuality, trans-affirming care, and psychedelics. As transgender and gender non-conforming people have long been marginalized within the medical system, it is important to be aware of the unique challenges and needs of this population as we continue to learn how to co-create safe spaces for all people in psychedelic therapy.
