Honoring Veterans on Their Healing Journey

On Veterans Day, we take a moment to honor the courage and resilience of veterans across the nation. At SoundMind Institute, we’re committed to supporting their mental health journey with innovative, accessible, and community-driven treatments.

Our Psychedelic Access for Veterans Program offers specialized ketamine and psilocybin-assisted therapy, specifically designed to help veterans navigate PTSD and other challenges. A core component of this program is the Veteran Peer Support Project. This unique initiative pairs veterans who have successfully completed psychedelic-assisted therapy with others who are just beginning their healing journey. These trained peer mentors provide crucial emotional support and shared experiences, helping guide veterans through the treatment process.

We are deeply grateful to the past and current participants and consultants who have made this program possible. Their bravery, wisdom, and dedication are what keep this project moving forward.

Storytelling is a vital pathway toward increasing awareness of and support for psychedelic medicine, especially as we seek to find affordable, accessible ways to deliver these new approaches. SoundMind Project is committed to telling the personal stories of psychedelic therapy as a vehicle for social change.
